On
Friday 19 November 2004 Diageo were getting ready to raise funds for the special
Children in Need charity day. Synergy helped highlight
Diageo's checkpoint for collection along the busy Boucher Road in Belfast through
the use of our flag-it product. Flag-its grabbed attention from further up the
road enabling Diageo to attract people to their cause at the traffic lights.

The
innovative and creative design of the banners highlighted the traffic light
theme of Diageo's appeal. The colourful alley of flag-its enhanced the visual
communication for the event along the roadside emphasising both Pudsey and Diageo
in their united front.
A
great days fund raising was had by all and Diageo collected a substantial amount.
The banners highlighted Diageo's support and interest in a charity such as Children
in Need. Diageo needed branding that would stay visible at a certain time on
a specific day and the unique design of the Expanda Sign flag-its achieved this
because they do not need the wind to blow them out so Diageo could depend on
the banners to remain visible at all times.
